Used to live in L.A. but now in S.F.
So cant help ya much on the hooking up front but ya,
your supposed to feel bummed after BM.
After 6 years, it still happens to me strong as ever.
I never have as much fun or feel as good as I do
as when I'm at BM.
I always come home wishing my life could more closely resemble
my experiences at BM.
But the world is just not that cool is all it is.
But I'd say SF is a close running.
I love SF.
It feels like where BM tries to live year round.
With the gigs that pop up regularly, the BM office, all the peeps
I hang with Are here.

But bummed still.

i recommend just getting as involved in your local community as you can...there's plenty of LA burners, and y'all probably have a local yahoo list serve or website like we do up here. there you should be able to find stuff to do; costume parties, weekly potlucks, santarchy events and whatnot... good luck to ya...and try not to get spoiled (most of my friends are burners)!
